Guides · Selling more than hours
How do you run a workshop on set dates?
Fix the dates before you sell a seat, sell the seat for all of them at once, and say in advance what happens when somebody misses one and what happens if they stop. Then send a short note before each date. The work is in deciding those rules, not in running the sessions.
- 1
The dates, fixed first
All of them, before anybody buys. A course whose dates move loses the people who planned around them.
- 2
One seat for every date
Sold together. People who buy all of it come to more of it.
- 3
A missed date
Say what happens: a recording, notes, or nothing. Decide before the first person asks.
- 4
The refund rule
Write it once and put it under the agreement.
- 5
A note before each date
The time, the link or the room, and one thing to think about beforehand.
- 6
Your own cancellation
If you have to move a date, move it for everyone and tell them first.
The refund rule, word for word
The line a WorkWith course sheet shows under the agreement: “A course that runs on set dates is bought as a whole. You can cancel it up to 24 hours before the first date and be refunded in full. Once it has started, the dates you haven't had yet are refunded when you tell me that you're stopping, except a date less than 24 hours away, which is charged. If I have to move a date, I move it for everyone and tell you first, and if the new time doesn't work for you, that date is refunded.”
