How do you stop free calls from filling your week?

Make them short, ask one question before booking, hold them to a few slots a week, and end each with one link. A 20-minute call with the 30-minute gap after it is 50 minutes. Five a week is more than 4 hours nobody pays for.

  1. 1

    Keep them short

20 minutes is enough to decide. Longer and it becomes a free session.

  2. 2

    Ask a question before booking

What they want help with, in a sentence. People who can’t answer weren’t ready to pay.

  3. 3

Hold them to a few slots

Two afternoons a week, say. When those are full, the next call is next week.

  4. 4

    End with one link

The paid offer you discussed, on its own address, sent before you hang up.

  5. 5

    Count them

If most calls don’t end in a paid booking, the call is doing the wrong job. Make it shorter, or charge for it.

On WorkWith, the question you choose sits on the booking sheet, and each offering has its own address to send at the end of the call.

When charging for the first call makes sense.
