Leaving Calendly: what comes across and what stays behind
Calendly books a time well. If you also need the client to accept your terms, pay, and come back to their own page for the next session, that’s three more tools. WorkWith brings your Calendly event types and last year’s clients across in one connection and keeps no access afterward.
Read on October 11, 2026 from Calendly’s own pages, listed at the foot of this one.
Features, plans and prices change often, and this page can fall behind them. Check Calendly’s own site, and ours, before you decide. Where we couldn’t find something, we say so rather than guess.
Side by side
| Calendly | WorkWith | |
|---|---|---|
| Price for one person | Free plan with one event type; Standard $10 a seat a month billed yearly, $12 monthly | $29 a month or $290 a year, plus 0.75% on card payments and Stripe’s own fee |
| Payment at booking | Yes, on Standard and up, by Stripe or PayPal, with no Calendly fee on top | Yes, on every offering |
| Packages of sessions | Yes, on paid plans, through Stripe | Yes, used from the client’s own page, with a use-by date |
| Monthly subscriptions | We couldn’t find recurring billing in Calendly’s pages | Yes, and the client can pause a month or stop from their page |
| Terms accepted before paying | A cancellation policy shown in emails; Calendly says it doesn’t enforce it | Yes: the client types their name to accept before paying, and the words and time are kept |
| Invoices after the work | Yes, on Standard and up | Yes, chased by themselves after the days you set |
| Selling a file | We found no file delivery | Yes, delivered once paid, from the client’s page |
| Group sessions | Yes, multi-person meeting types on Standard and up | Yes: group sessions with seats, and courses on set dates |
| Text reminders | Yes, through workflows on paid plans | No. Reminders go by email, the day before |
| Your own domain | Not offered for booking pages, as far as we could find | Yes |
| Exporting your data | A CSV of meetings on paid plans | Yes: everything as a zip of CSV files, at any time |
| A page for the client | None; invitees need no account | A private page from a link in their email, with no password |
What comes across
- Your active event types, as offerings under Not on your page, with no price yet, so you set one before they go live.
- The people who booked you in the last year, as clients. They aren’t on your notes list until they say yes.
- Your hours, set once, and your Google or Outlook calendar, so nobody books over what’s already there.
- Your old link, redirected to your page, so an old email still leads somewhere.
What stays behind
- Bookings already made in Calendly. They happen there, so keep it running until the last one has.
- Routing forms and round robin, which are team features.
- Text reminders. Reminders here go by email, the day before.
- Connections to HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp and Zapier.
- Packages and invoices already open in Calendly Payments. Let them finish there.
Stay on Calendly if
- You book for a team, with routing forms or round robin.
- Your clients rely on text reminders.
- Your bookings feed a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- You only need a time booked, and payment and terms happen elsewhere.
Moving, without a dead link
Run both for a month. New bookings come here; anything already booked or paid for on Calendly finishes there. The four steps are on the switching page.
