Coaching agreement
- Your name and the name of your practice
- Your client's name
- What the work is, in a sentence
- How long a session is
- The price
- The date it starts
01Who this is between
This agreement is between me, named at the top, and you, the client named at the top. It starts on the date you accept it and covers the work described there.
02What I am doing
I am providing coaching. We agreed what we are working on before we started, and it is written at the top of this agreement.
03How we meet
Sessions are the length written at the top and happen at the times we book. Please arrive on time; a late start doesn't extend the session.
04What it costs, and when it is due
The price is written at the top of this agreement. Payment is due at the time of booking, and a session isn't held until it has been paid for. If an invoice isn't paid by its due date I may pause the work until it is.
05Changing or canceling
You can move or cancel up to 24 hours before we are due to meet, at no charge. Inside 24 hours, the session is charged in full, because the time was held for you and can't be filled. If I have to cancel, you aren't charged. We find another time, or I refund you.
06Sessions bought in a block
Where you buy several sessions together, they are used within the window stated when you bought them. If we stop before you have used them, the ones you have not had are refunded.
07What stays private
Everything you share with me is confidential. I keep only the information I need in order to do the work.
08What this is not
Coaching isn't therapy, medical care or financial advice, and outcomes aren't guaranteed. What you do with our sessions is yours.
09Ending it
Either of us can end this in writing at any time. Anything you have paid for and not yet received is refunded.
10Which law applies
This agreement is governed by the law of the state where I practice.
11Accepting it
Booking and paying for the work, or signing below, means you have read this and agree to it.
