Should clients be able to reschedule themselves?
Yes, up to your cancellation window. Every move a client makes for themselves is an email you don’t write and a time you don’t have to find. Closer to the session than the window, they ask you, and you decide. That keeps the rule and the exceptions both in your hands.
What it saves
Moving a session by email takes about four messages: the ask, the times you offer, the time they pick, the confirmation. Multiply by every client who moves a session in a month. Letting them do it from a link turns those four messages into none.
What it doesn’t give away
The window still holds. A client can move up to the window and not after. Inside it, the session is charged, and moving it is your decision.
On WorkWith, the line under your offerings says “You can move or cancel at no charge up to 24 hours before your session.” or your own words. Every confirmation and reminder carries the link to the client’s own page, where they move or cancel up to the window. A cancellation in time is refunded by itself.
