What software does a practice of one need?
Four things: one page that takes bookings, payment and your agreement; the calendar you already use; email; and an accountant, or software they recommend for your costs. Most practices of one run on more than that, and pay for it twice: once in subscriptions and once in the hours spent joining them up.
- 1
A page that books, takes payment and holds the agreement
So a client does all three in one visit, and you don’t connect three tools by hand.
- 2
Your calendar
The one already on your phone. Sessions land in it, and nothing gets booked over what’s already there.
- 3
Email
On your own domain once you have one. Clients reply to it, so it should look like you.
- 4
Something for costs and the books
Whatever your accountant uses or recommends, so the year-end hand-over is a link, not a box.
Often bought, rarely needed
- A separate scheduling tool, a separate payment link and a separate e-signature tool, all doing parts of one booking.
- A CRM built for a sales team.
- A website builder for a site that’s one page.
- A newsletter tool, if your page can send notes to the people who asked for them.
On WorkWith, the page takes the booking, the agreement and the payment, connects to Google Calendar or an Outlook calendar, sends notes to the people who said yes, and gives your accountant a read-only link.
