How many clients replace a salary

Your payslip says what you take home. Put that in, with what you’d charge for a session, and you’ll see how many sessions a week it takes to keep it, and how many clients that means.

Tax, costs and card fees are counted in. The sums run in your browser and nothing is stored.

Questions

Why start from take-home pay and not my salary?

Because take-home is what the practice has to replace. A salary has tax taken out before you see it; a practice pays you everything and sends the tax bill later, so the calculator adds it back on.

Why does the number of clients matter if I know the sessions?

A client who comes every other week fills half a slot. Sessions tell you how full the week is; clients tell you how many people you have to find, and keep, to fill it.

Is the number of sessions the number of hours I’ll work?

No. Notes, email, invoices and finding the next client sit around every session. The calculator counts what clients pay for, and the week has more in it than that.

How many clients do you need to replace a salary? walks through the same sums, and Where the week goes counts the hours around them.

Then fill the week from one page

On WorkWith, clients book the times you offer, accept your agreement and pay on one page, and Money shows each month what you were paid and what’s yours after the set-aside.
