How to announce a workbook or toolkit to your list
One paragraph and one link. Say the problem it solves in the reader’s words, what’s in it and the price. A file is a small decision, and a short message keeps it one. Send it to the people who said yes to hearing from you, once.
When to send it: The day it’s ready, once.

Subject: The first-90-days workbook
Hi Sam, Most of the people I coach ask the same thing in their first month in a new job: what should I actually be doing? I’ve put my answer in a workbook: a week-by-week plan, the three conversations to have with your manager, and the questions to ask your team. It’s 24 pages and $45. The link is below. Maya
Why it works
- The first sentence is the reader’s question, not your product.
- What’s in it is counted, so the price has something to stand beside.
- One email, once. A launch sequence of six is for companies with lists of thousands.
What not to say
- “Launching soon!” teasers before it exists.
- A second and third email to the same people about the same file.
