What does a carbon footprint assessment need from the client?
Energy bills, fuel and travel records, and spending by supplier for the year. Ask for them in writing before you start.
Can a sustainability consultant certify a report?
Only if you hold the accreditation the standard requires. Say in your agreement whether your report is verified or advisory.
