For podcast producers
Each show is a monthly commitment, and every episode starts with a file the host sends. Sell production by the month, let hosts send raw audio from their own page, and price a launch as its own project.
The raw audio arrives on Sunday night
Raw audio arrives by file-sharing link on Sunday night, with the notes in a separate email.
A host records two episodes in a month and expects to pay for four, or the other way round.
Launching a new show is a month of work that clients expect to be part of the first episode.
Your page on the first day
This is the design or creative setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- Before booking, your page asks: “What are we making, and by when?”
Your project agreement opens with this: Half of the project price is due up front and half on delivery. The scope is what we agreed in writing; new work is a new agreement.
What’s different for podcast producers
Raw audio from their own page
Hosts send their recordings from their own page, and the files land on their row in your app, with nothing lost in an inbox.
A month of episodes
Set a row to the number of episodes a month and tick Every month, and the count refills at each renewal.
Questions podcast producers ask
How do podcast producers charge?
Per episode for occasional shows, and monthly for regular ones, priced by the number of episodes. A launch is quoted as a project.
What does a podcast producer do?
Edits the audio, adds the intro and music, writes the show notes and publishes the episode. Say in your offering which of these you do.
What happens to unused episodes in a month?
Say so in your agreement: they lapse, or carry over once. The monthly count refills either way.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no podcast hosting, no audio editor and no publishing to directories. Publish from the host you use now.
