For voice-over artists
A job starts with a script and ends with audio files, and the usage decides the price. Let clients send the script from their own page, quote with the usage in the scope, and take a share before you record.
The script in, the files out
The script from their own page
Your client sends the script from their own page, and it lands on their row in your app, ready when you record.
Usage in the offer
Send an offer from the client’s row with the script length, the usage and the deadline in the scope, and a share due now. The rest is invoiced on delivery, with reminders from your name.
Your page on the first day
This is the design or creative setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- Before booking, your page asks: “What are we making, and by when?”
Your project agreement opens with this: Half of the project price is due up front and half on delivery. The scope is what we agreed in writing; new work is a new agreement.
Questions voice-over artists ask
How do voice-over artists charge?
By the job, priced from the script length and where it will be used. A paid ad pays more than an internal video, because usage is what the client is buying.
Should a voice-over artist charge for revisions?
One round of pickups is usually included. Script changes after recording are charged, and the agreement says how.
Who owns a voice recording?
The client owns the right to use it as agreed. Say in your agreement what the usage covers and for how long.
What gets in the way
Scripts arrive as email attachments, with changes in a second email after you’ve recorded.
A clip recorded for an internal video ends up in a paid ad, and the fee never changed.
Small agencies pay sixty days after the job, after three reminders.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no audio hosting for large files, no recording booth booking and no casting board. Deliver the audio the way you do now.
