For wedding planners
A wedding is a year of work, and the date is the only thing that can’t move. Take a share when the couple books, invoice the rest as the planning reaches each stage, and keep a short call for couples still deciding.
A year of work for one Saturday
A couple books eighteen months ahead and changes the date twice.
Full planning, partial planning and on-the-day coordination get confused in every first conversation.
The final balance is due the week of the wedding, when nobody is thinking about invoices.
Questions wedding planners ask
How much deposit does a wedding planner take?
Often a quarter to a half of the fee at booking, with the rest in stages. Write the stages and their dates in your agreement.
What’s the difference between a wedding planner and a coordinator?
A planner works from the start; a coordinator takes over in the last weeks and runs the day. Price them as separate offerings.
When should the final payment for a wedding planner be due?
Two to four weeks before the wedding, so nobody is chasing money on the day. Say so in the agreement.
What’s different for wedding planners
A share when they book
Set what’s due at booking on each planning package, and the couple pays that part when they choose you. The rest waits on Today until you send it.
Three packages on one page
Full planning, partial planning and coordination sit as three rows with their own prices, so couples pick before the first call.
Your page on the first day
This is the design or creative setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- Before booking, your page asks: “What are we making, and by when?”
Your project agreement opens with this: Half of the project price is due up front and half on delivery. The scope is what we agreed in writing; new work is a new agreement.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no installment billing, no vendor directory and no guest list. Each stage is an invoice you send from Today or the couple’s row.
