For art teachers
Your classes fill by word of mouth, so make it easy to pass on. Give each class a number of easels, sell a term on set dates, and give every student their own link to send to a friend.
What gets in the way
Students bring friends, and you never know which friend came from whom.
A term of classes paid week by week loses a student every few weeks.
Materials cost money, and a no-show has used up their share anyway.
Easels, terms and word of mouth
A link for every student to pass on
Each student’s own page has a link to send to someone. When a friend books through it, their record shows who sent them.
A term on set dates
Add the dates of a term and the number of easels, and each student pays once for a place at every class.
Questions art teachers ask
Should an art teacher include materials in the price?
Yes, for classes, so nobody turns up without paper. Price the materials into the term, and say in the class line what’s included.
How many students should an art class have?
Eight to ten, so you can reach every easel. Set the number once and the class stops selling when it’s full.
How do I get more students for my art classes?
From the students you have. Ask them to send their link to a friend, and thank the ones who do.
Your page on the first day
This is the something else setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- There are 15 minutes clear after every session.
Your working agreement opens with this: Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no gallery, no supply ordering and no reward for referrals. Thank the students who send friends in whatever way you like.
