For college admissions advisors
A family buys a season of help, and the deadlines decide the pace. Sell sessions as a package that ends after decision day, and hear from Today when a student still has sessions left with the deadlines close.
Before the deadlines arrive
Sessions that run to a date
A package carries the months it’s good for. Two weeks before they run out with sessions unused, Today shows it, with a button to remind the family and one to give them longer.
The parent pays, the student books
The parent buys the package as a gift for the student, who gets their own page and books each session around school.
Questions college admissions advisors ask
When should a student start working with a college admissions advisor?
By the spring of junior year, so the list, the essays and the visits aren’t all in the fall. Later works, but there’s less room to rethink.
How do college admissions advisors charge?
Usually a package of hours or sessions for the whole application season, paid up front, with single sessions for families who need one thing.
Should an admissions advisor guarantee admission?
Never, and your agreement should say so. You’re paid for the advice and the work; the college decides.
Your page on the first day
This is the something else setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- There are 15 minutes clear after every session.
Your working agreement opens with this: Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.
What gets in the way
A family buys ten sessions in the spring, and in December the student still has six.
The parent pays and the student books, and they don’t always talk to each other.
Every student’s deadlines fall in the same few weeks.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no application tracker, no essay editor and no school list builder. Students apply through each college’s own system.
