For swim instructors
You rent pool time by the hour, and most swimmers are children whose parents pay. Sell a block of lessons a parent buys for their child, put the pool on every booking, and keep small groups to the lanes you have.
Lane time costs money
Pool time is rented whether a swimmer turns up or not.
Parents book a single lesson, and a child needs ten to swim a length.
Lessons move between two pools, and families go to the wrong one.
What’s different for swim instructors
A block a parent buys for a child
A parent buys a block of lessons as a gift for their child, who gets their own page to book each lesson from.
The pool on every booking
Each offering carries the pool’s address, so the Saturday pool and the Tuesday pool never get mixed up.
Your page on the first day
This is the something else setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- There are 15 minutes clear after every session.
Your working agreement opens with this: Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.
Questions swim instructors ask
How many swimming lessons does a child need?
Often ten to twenty to swim confidently, weekly. A block paid in advance keeps the weeks together.
Are private swim lessons better than group lessons?
For nervous swimmers, yes. Groups of three or four work well once a child is comfortable in the water.
What happens if the pool closes?
Say so in your agreement before it happens: the lesson moves to the next free slot or is refunded.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no lane booking, no progress badges and no pool timetable. Book the pool the way you do now.
