How much should a music teacher charge?
Price by length, not by instrument: thirty, forty-five and sixty minutes as three offerings, so a beginner’s parent and an adult coming back to it each see a price that fits.
What’s a fair makeup lesson policy?
Moves are free with enough notice and lost without it. Put the notice in your agreement, and students move lessons from their own page inside it.
Should a music teacher teach online?
For students who would otherwise stop, yes. Online and in-person lessons can sit side by side on your page as two offerings.
Can a music teacher sell sheet music or practice tracks?
Yes, as files, delivered when they’re paid for and kept on the student’s own page.
How do I run a group class or an ensemble?
As a group session with seats, or as a course on set dates when it builds toward a performance.

- There are 15 minutes clear after every session.
Your working agreement opens with this: Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no practice log, no lesson notes for students and no recital ticketing.
