For foraging guides
Your walks follow the seasons, start at a gate in the countryside, and hold as many people as you can watch at once. Put the meeting point on every walk, set the places, and write the safety rule before anyone picks anything.
What people ask before the walk
Is foraging safe?
With a guide and a firm rule, yes: nothing is eaten until it’s identified for certain. Put that rule in your agreement.
When is the best time of year for foraging?
Spring for greens, late summer for berries, and autumn for mushrooms. Run walks by season.
What should I bring on a foraging walk?
Boots, a basket or paper bags, and clothes for the weather. Say it in the walk’s line.
What’s different for foraging guides
The meeting point on the booking
Each walk carries where it starts, and the reminder the day before says it again.
Places you can watch
A walk holds the number of people you can keep an eye on, often twelve, and comes off your page when it’s full.
Your page on the first day
This is the something else setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- There are 15 minutes clear after every session.
Your working agreement opens with this: Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.
What gets in the way
Walks sell out in mushroom season and nobody books in February.
People turn up at the wrong gate of a large park.
Somebody always wants to eat something before you’ve named it.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no plant identification app, no weather alerts and no permit booking. Check land access the way you do now.
