Should a wedding officiant meet the couple before the ceremony?
Yes, at least once, so the ceremony sounds like them. Offer a free first call on your page, and include a planning meeting in the price.
Does a wedding officiant charge for the rehearsal?
Usually, because it’s another evening of your time. Price it separately or include it, and say which in your agreement.
What’s different for wedding officiants
The date held when they book
Set what’s due at booking on the ceremony, and the couple pays that part when they choose the date. The rest waits on Today until the wedding is close.
The venue on the booking
The ceremony carries the address it happens at, so the venue travels with the booking.
Your page on the first day
This is the something else setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.

Your working agreement opens with this: Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.
What gets in the way
A June Saturday is booked a year ahead, and the couple who canceled in March leaves it empty.
The ceremony is twenty minutes, and the meetings, the writing and the rehearsal around it are hours.
Venues send directions the week before, and your phone holds them somewhere.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no ceremony script builder and no marriage license filing. Handle the license the way your state or country requires.
