For professional organizers
Your work happens in clients’ homes, in sessions of a few hours, and the first visit decides the rest. Sell a paid assessment at their address, then a package of sessions they book as rooms get done.
Four hours in somebody’s garage
The first visit is a free walk-through, and half the people who book one never book again.
A garage quoted at four hours takes nine, and nobody agreed what happens then.
Clients feel embarrassed about the mess, and they’d rather book without talking to anyone first.
What’s different for professional organizers
A paid assessment at their address
Sell the first visit as a session at a price, and your booking question asks for the address and which rooms.
Sessions bought as rooms get done
A package of sessions is paid once, and your client books each one from their own page as the next room is ready.
Your page on the first day
This is the something else setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- There are 15 minutes clear after every session.
Your working agreement opens with this: Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.
Questions professional organizers ask
How do professional organizers charge?
By the hour with a minimum session, often three or four hours, or by the package for a whole room. Supplies and donation runs are extra.
Should an organizer charge for the first visit?
Yes, a lower fee for a shorter visit. It filters out the curious, and you can credit it against the first full session.
What should an organizing agreement say?
That the client decides what’s kept, how donations and disposal are handled, and what happens when a job runs over its hours.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no inventory tool, no before-and-after gallery and no supply ordering. Shop for supplies the way you do now.
