For career coaches

Your clients are between jobs and counting every dollar. Show them the price up front, sell the advice you repeat as a file, and save your sessions for the part only you can do.

What gets in the way

Many of your clients are between jobs, so the price has to be plain before they decide they can afford it.

You give the same résumé advice in every first session and wish it were a document.

Most clients need you hard for six weeks and then not at all, until the next move.

What’s different for career coaches

A file sold beside sessions

A résumé workbook or an interview guide can be an offering of its own, delivered by email when it’s paid for and kept on your client’s own page.

Pay what you want for the file

Set a lowest price, from nothing up, and the client types what they pay, starting from your price as a suggestion. Sessions keep a fixed price.

Questions career coaches ask

Should a career coach charge people out of work less?

If you want to, make it a price on the page, not a conversation. A file at pay what you want, or a lower-priced session with its own name, lets anyone choose it without explaining their situation to you.

How long should a career coaching program run?

Set it by the outcome, not the calendar: one decision, or one search from résumé to offer. Give the package a window that matches, and say so in the agreement.

What can a career coach sell besides sessions?

The part you repeat: a résumé template, an interview question bank, a salary negotiation script. Sold as a file, it reaches people who can’t book you yet, and three weeks after somebody buys one without booking, Today suggests offering them a session.

Can a career coach guarantee a job?

No, and your agreement should say outcomes aren’t guaranteed. The coaching agreement your page starts with says so already.

How do you price a résumé and LinkedIn review?

As a fixed piece of work at a fixed price, never by the hour. Your client knows the cost up front, and you’re paid when they order, before you open the document.

How does a client send me their résumé?

From their own page. It arrives on their row in the app, beside everything else about them.

  • Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
  • Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
  • There are 30 minutes clear after every session.
  • Before booking, your page asks: “What do you want to work on?”

Your coaching agreement opens with this: Sessions are 50 minutes by video. Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.

What it doesn’t do for you

There’s no job board, no application tracking, and nothing that writes résumés for your clients. The page sells your time and your files, and the work itself is yours.
