For personal trainers

Your office is a gym, a park or a living room, and no booking tool expected that. Sessions with an address, blocks that end, and small groups that stop taking bookings when the mats run out.

Gym, park or video

A place, not a link

An offering can happen at an address you give instead of on a video link.

Seats in the same hour

A group session holds more than one person. The first booking sets the time, the rest join it, and a full session comes off your page.

  • Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
  • Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
  • There are 30 minutes clear after every session.
  • Before booking, your page asks: “What do you want to work on?”

Your coaching agreement opens with this: Sessions are 50 minutes by video. Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.

What gets in the way

Your sessions happen in a gym, a park or somebody’s living room, and booking tools assume a video link.

Clients buy ten sessions, use seven, and ask for an extension in month five.

Small-group sessions fill unevenly, and you find out who’s coming at the door.

Questions personal trainers ask

How should a personal trainer sell a block of sessions?

With an end date. A block that expires keeps clients training regularly and keeps your books clear of sessions owed from last year. Your page gives a package a window you set.

What should a personal trainer charge for small-group training?

Less per person than a one-to-one session and more in total for the hour. Set the number of seats, and the session comes off your page when it fills.

Does a personal trainer need clients to sign a waiver?

Yes: a statement that the client is fit to train and will tell you about injuries. Put it in your agreement, so it’s accepted before the first session is paid.

Should a personal trainer sell online programs?

If you write programs already, sell one as a file, delivered when it’s paid for. A monthly file delivers the current month’s program at each renewal.

How do personal trainers take payment?

Before the session, at booking. Nobody pays at the door, and nobody owes you afterward.

Should a personal trainer offer a free first session?

Offer a short free assessment, not a free workout: time to talk about goals and injuries. Your page starts with a free introductory call you can rename and move to the gym.

What it doesn’t do for you

There’s no workout builder, exercise library or progress tracking, and no class passes for a studio with several trainers. Clients pay by card.
