For sports coaches
You coach on a court, a field or a pool deck, and a parent usually pays. Put the venue on every session, run small groups with a set number of places, and sell a term of private lessons for the players who want more.
Courts, fields and parents
The venue on every session
Each offering carries the place it happens, so the Tuesday court and the Saturday field show the right address in the confirmation and the reminder.
Small groups with places
A group session holds the number of players you set, and every place is paid for when it’s taken, so a no-show has still paid for the court.
Questions sports coaches ask
How much should a private sports coach charge?
Enough to cover the court or facility hire and your hour. Add the venue cost to what you need to take home, and charge more for players preparing for trials or competitions.
Should sports lessons be paid in advance?
Yes, for groups especially. The court is booked whether or not everyone turns up.
What happens when a session is rained off?
Say so in your agreement before it happens: moved to the next free slot, or refunded.
Your page on the first day
This is the coaching setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from tomorrow onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 24 hours before.
- There are 30 minutes clear after every session.
- Before booking, your page asks: “What do you want to work on?”
Your coaching agreement opens with this: Sessions are 50 minutes by video. Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge; inside 24 hours the session is charged in full.
What gets in the way
Court bookings, player schedules and parents’ calendars all have to line up for one hour.
A squad session of eight with two no-shows wastes a court you paid for.
Rain cancels the session, and moving every player to a new time takes an evening of messages.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no team roster, no match scheduling and no performance stats. The page books the sessions and takes the payments.
