For dietitians

Most private patients come with a diagnosis: diabetes, IBS, an eating disorder in recovery. Sell a structured program as one package over the weeks it takes, and keep the letter to their doctor as part of it.

What patients ask before the first appointment

What’s the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?

In many countries, dietitian is a protected title for someone qualified to treat medical conditions with diet. Check the register where you live.

How many appointments with a dietitian will I need?

Often three to six over a few months, depending on the condition. A structured program sets the number at the start.

Can a dietitian write to my doctor?

Yes, with your consent. Many dietitians include a letter with each program.

What gets in the way

An elimination diet takes six to eight weeks and patients stop at week three.

Patients want a letter for their doctor, and writing it is unpaid.

Food diaries and test results arrive in different apps every week.

What’s different for dietitians

A program over the weeks it takes

Set a row to the appointments a program needs and the months it runs, so a patient pays once and books each step from their own page.

Results sent from their own page

Patients send food diaries and test results from their own page, and they land on their row in your app.

What it doesn’t do for you

There’s no meal planner, no clinical notes and no insurance billing. The page books and takes payment for self-pay appointments.

We don’t sign a business associate agreement. If you work inside a clinic or a health plan that needs one, keep that work where it is now.
