For tai chi instructors
Your classes happen in parks and halls, often first thing, and most students come for years. Put the place on every class, sell a term on set dates for beginners, and keep a drop-in for those who already know the form.

What’s different for tai chi instructors
A term for beginners
Add the dates of a beginners’ term and the places, so new students start together and learn the form in order.
The place on every class
Each class carries where it happens, so the summer park class and the winter hall class each show the right address.
Questions tai chi instructors ask
Is tai chi suitable for older people?
Yes, and many classes are made for them. Movements are slow and can be done seated. Ask about health in the booking question.
How long does it take to learn tai chi?
A beginners’ form takes eight to twelve weeks to learn, and years to refine.
Can I join a tai chi class partway through?
Drop-ins are fine for experienced students. Beginners do better starting with a term from the first week.
What gets in the way
Beginners join halfway through a term and can’t follow the form.
Outdoor classes move indoors in winter, and students go to the park anyway.
Regular students pay cash at the gate, and you count it in the car.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no class pass, no attendance tracking and no cash handling. Each class or term is booked and paid on the page.
