For doulas
A family books you months before the baby arrives, and the visits happen in their home. Take a share when they book, put the rest on Today for later, and ask for the address before the first visit.
Booked months before the due date
A family books you in the second trimester for a birth months away, and that month is gone for anyone else.
Prenatal visits, the birth and the postpartum visits are one arrangement, and booking tools treat them as three.
Every visit is at a different home, and the address is somewhere in a text thread.
Your page on the first day
This is the therapy or practice setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from 2 days ahead onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 48 hours before.
- There are 10 minutes clear after every session.
Your practice agreement opens with this: Sessions are 50 minutes. Reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before at no charge; inside 48 hours the session is charged in full.
What’s different for doulas
A share when they book
Set what’s due at booking on your package, and the family pays that part when they choose you. The rest waits on Today as an invoice you send when the time comes.
The address before the visit
Your booking question asks where you’re going, and the answer is on the booking when you need it.
Questions doulas ask
How much deposit should a doula take?
Enough to hold the month, often a third to a half of the package. Say in your agreement when the rest is due and what happens if the birth plan changes.
What should a doula package include?
The number of prenatal and postpartum visits, being on call around the due date, and support at the birth. Writing each one down keeps the package from growing.
Should a doula offer a free first meeting?
Yes. Families choose a doula on how the first conversation feels, and your page starts with one.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no on-call schedule, no birth plan builder and no clinical records. The page holds the agreement and the money; the birth works the way it always has.
We don’t sign a business associate agreement. If you work inside a clinic or a health plan that needs one, keep that work where it is now.
