For music therapists
Most of your sessions happen where your clients live: a family home, a school, a care home. Put the address on every booking, let a parent or a manager book on someone’s behalf, and sell a block for the weekly sessions.
What families and care homes ask
Who is music therapy for?
Children and adults with communication, emotional or neurological needs, and older people living with dementia. No musical skill is needed.
How often should music therapy sessions be?
Weekly, over at least a few months, so the work builds. A block paid in advance fits that rhythm.
Can a care home book music therapy for several residents?
Yes, as a group session with a set number of places, or individual blocks for each resident.
Your page on the first day
This is the therapy or practice setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from 2 days ahead onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 48 hours before.
- There are 10 minutes clear after every session.
Your practice agreement opens with this: Sessions are 50 minutes. Reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before at no charge; inside 48 hours the session is charged in full.
What’s different for music therapists
Booked on someone’s behalf
A parent or a care home buys a block of sessions as a gift for the person they’re for, who gets their own page.
The address with every session
Your booking question asks where you’re going, so the address travels with each booking and its reminder.
What gets in the way
A care home manager books sessions for six residents and needs one invoice.
Every session is at a different address, with instruments in the car.
Parents book one session to try, and the work needs weeks.
What it doesn’t do for you
There are no clinical notes, no assessment reports and no insurance billing. The page books and takes payment for self-pay sessions.
We don’t sign a business associate agreement. If you work inside a clinic or a health plan that needs one, keep that work where it is now.
