For lactation consultants
New parents need you in the first few days, at home, usually with no sleep behind them. Let them book a home visit from their phone at three in the morning, ask for the address when they do, and keep a follow-up ready.
Home visits in the first weeks
Booked at three in the morning
A tired parent books the first open slot from their phone, pays and reads your terms, with no call and no message.
The address with the booking
Your booking question asks where you’re going, and the answer sits on the booking and in your calendar.
What gets in the way
The calls come at night, from a parent who can’t face a phone call.
Home visits mean a different address every time, sent across three messages.
A first visit fixes the latch, and the follow-up that would keep it fixed never gets booked.
Your page on the first day
This is the therapy or practice setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from 2 days ahead onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 48 hours before.
- There are 10 minutes clear after every session.
Your practice agreement opens with this: Sessions are 50 minutes. Reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before at no charge; inside 48 hours the session is charged in full.
Questions lactation consultants ask
When should someone see a lactation consultant?
In the first week if feeding hurts or the baby isn’t gaining, and sooner rather than later. Problems are easier to fix early.
How long is a lactation consultation?
Usually an hour and a half for a first home visit, with a feed observed. Follow-ups are shorter.
Can I book a lactation consultant online?
Yes. Pick a time on the page, answer where the visit is, and pay as you book.
What it doesn’t do for you
There’s no same-day booking: the soonest a parent can book is tomorrow. There are no feeding logs and no clinical records.
We don’t sign a business associate agreement. If you work inside a clinic or a health plan that needs one, keep that work where it is now.
