For osteopaths
Patients book you for a bad back on Monday and want to be seen by Wednesday. Show the week’s openings, give the first appointment its own length, and let patients move a follow-up themselves.
A practice run on a front desk you don’t have
A patient in pain calls three practices and books whoever answers first.
First appointments run long with the history and the examination, and the next patient waits.
Follow-ups get moved by phone, between treatments, with your hands busy.
Questions osteopaths ask
How many osteopathy treatments will I need?
Many problems need two to four, a week or two apart. Your osteopath should say after the first appointment.
How long is a first osteopathy appointment?
Usually forty-five minutes to an hour, with the history and an examination. Follow-ups are often thirty.
Do I need a referral to see an osteopath?
Usually not for private treatment. Book directly, and bring any scans or letters you have.
What’s different for osteopaths
A longer first appointment
Give the first appointment its own length and price on Link, and the page books the right amount of time for it.
Follow-ups patients move themselves
Outside your cancellation window, a patient moves a follow-up from their own page, and the hour goes back on yours.
Your page on the first day
This is the therapy or practice setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from 2 days ahead onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 48 hours before.
- There are 10 minutes clear after every session.
Your practice agreement opens with this: Sessions are 50 minutes. Reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before at no charge; inside 48 hours the session is charged in full.
What it doesn’t do for you
There are no clinical notes, no insurance claims and no front desk. The page books and takes payment for self-pay appointments.
We don’t sign a business associate agreement. If you work inside a clinic or a health plan that needs one, keep that work where it is now.
