For occupational therapists
Private clients usually need you in their own home, and a family member is usually the one who books. Sell the home assessment with its address and its report as one piece of work, then a block of therapy sessions after it.
The assessment is in their home
A daughter books an assessment for her father two hundred miles away, and needs to pay and get the report.
The visit is ninety minutes, and the report afterward takes longer than the visit.
Families book one visit, and the recommendations need follow-up sessions to stick.
What’s different for occupational therapists
The visit and the report together
Sell the home assessment as one row with its length and price, so the report you write afterward is paid for with the visit.
Booked by the family
A family member can buy a block of sessions as a gift for the person they’re for, who gets their own page, and your booking question asks for the address.
Questions occupational therapists ask
What happens in an occupational therapy home assessment?
The therapist watches how someone manages everyday tasks at home, then recommends equipment, changes and therapy. A written report usually follows.
Can I book a private occupational therapist for a parent?
Yes. You book and pay, and give their address in the booking question. The report can come to you both, with their agreement.
Do I need a referral for private occupational therapy?
Usually not. Bring any letters or discharge notes you have to the first visit.
Your page on the first day
This is the therapy or practice setup, and it’s what your page starts with. Change any of it where it appears.
- Clients can book from 2 days ahead onward.
- Moving or canceling is free up to 48 hours before.
- There are 10 minutes clear after every session.
Your practice agreement opens with this: Sessions are 50 minutes. Reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before at no charge; inside 48 hours the session is charged in full.
What it doesn’t do for you
There are no clinical notes, no equipment ordering and no insurance billing. The page books and takes payment for self-pay work.
We don’t sign a business associate agreement. If you work inside a clinic or a health plan that needs one, keep that work where it is now.
